I believe that
Two cultures have shaped me. Endless curiosity drives me. And a passion for solving puzzles—be it in code or in life.

Two Worlds, One Heart
Born in Baghdad, raised in Vienna. These two worlds have made me who I am today—someone who navigates between traditions and finds entirely new paths in the process.
My Iraqi side taught me that every problem has a story. My Austrian side taught me to think systematically. Together, they create a unique perspective that I bring to everything I do.
It is this cultural duality that enables me to see things that remain hidden to others. To look at problems from different angles. To find solutions where others give up.

The Puzzle Lover
Even as a child, I had the need to truly understand things—not just superficially, but in depth. Why people act the way they do. Why something works—or doesn't. This interest led me to psychology early on, which I studied intensively. I actually wanted to major in it.
Today, I don't just solve technical problems. I love figuring out why something isn't working—be it a product, a process, or an idea. Every problem is a puzzle waiting to be solved.
My approach? First understand, then act. I listen, observe, ask the right questions. And then I build solutions that not only work, but actually help people.
"The best solution is the one that is so simple that everyone wonders: Why didn't anyone think of this before?"

How I Really Work
Understand users. Plan strategically. Build quality.
Think Like a User
What frustrates people? What makes their lives easier?
Plan Like a Strategist
Think long-term, act in small, testable steps.
Build Like a Craftsman
Quality over quantity. Perfectly functional instead of half-finished.
My Kitchen Adventures
Cooking is my other great passion. Especially when it comes to fish—and this is where my Iraqi side fully emerges.
Masquf – The Secret
Masquf is the traditional Iraqi way of preparing fish. The fish is smoked over an open fire, seasoned only with salt. The result? Incredible!
The Austrians don't know what they're missing!

It's not just the cooking itself. It's the patience, the precision, the experimentation. Just like with programming: you follow a recipe, but the magic happens when you understand why each step is important.
Dad Mode Activated
I may be building the future, but my family always comes first.

Nothing makes me happier than my children's laughter. They remind me every day why I build what I build—for a better world for them to grow up in.
Being the best dad is my most important project.
