Geistr Core is a reusable, desktop-first foundation for focused AI products. It gathers what repeatedly has to be created from scratch—so the next good product idea can start closer to its actual purpose.

With every idea for a focused AI app, the same foundations appeared again: sessions, models, tools, permissions, memory, settings, and desktop packaging. Those are important problems—but they should not stop a new product from reaching its own core.
Geistr Core is my answer. The foundation joins a local Electron and React workspace with the Pi SDK and stable systems for agents, providers, persistence, and workflows. New products can build their own UX, domain tools, and behaviour on top.
A product that enables other products
Geistr Core brings together local sessions, memory with a Memory Galaxy view, skills, MCP servers, web tools, permission modes, and background loops. It is not an abstract framework: the desktop app makes the systems visible and immediately usable.
I publish Geistr Core under the MIT license because I learned through open tools, documentation, and people who shared their knowledge. If this foundation helps someone move faster from an idea to a useful product, it has achieved its purpose.
